Italian designer born in Rome, Anna Giuffrida graduated from ISIA Roma (Higher Institute for Artistic Industries), specializing in industrial design. After work experience in London, Anna moved to Milan where she has collaborated with several prominent designers. During the fourteen years spent in Milan, Anna worked and developed projects with, and for: Isao Hosoe, Lucci–Orlandini, Villa Design, Design Group Italia, Raul Barbieri. Anna has collaborated with the Philips and DomusAcademy research centers on the development of new concepts. Anna started her professional life working on product design, but has focused more on furniture design over the years, with particular focus on the private and public chair market. Since 2009, Anna has lived and worked in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Anna’s studio specializes in collaborations and product development with Italian and Scandinavian manufacturers;
moreover, Anna has started her own self-production line developing and manufacturing diverse pieces of furniture and complementary design items, most of them commissions created for private customers.
The self-production concept arose from the need to find a meeting point for a dialogue between two different entities: The classical Danish tradition and the creative Italian intellectual and conceptual approach.  Here the passion for natural materials, the curiosity in seeking and experimenting with new technologies, colors, landscapes, and habits, influence and merge into each product.

Nei quattordici anni trascorsi a Milano lavora e sviluppa progetti per e con gli studi: Isao Hosoe, Lucci e Orlandini, Villa design, Design Group Italia, Raul Barbieri. Collabora con il centro ricerche Philips e Domus Academy, per lo sviluppo di nuovi concepts.
La sua attività partita dal product design, si è concentrata negli anni sul furniture design, con particolare attenzione per le sedute pubbliche e private.
Dal 2009 vive e lavora in Danimarca.
Nel suo studio sviluppa prodotti e collabora con ditte italiane e scandinave accanto al suo progetto di autoproduzione, a cui fanno capo diversi mobili e accessori per l’arredamento, alcuni dei quali sono stati realizzati per clienti privati.
L’idea dell’autoproduzione nasce dall’esigenza di trovare un punto d’incontro tra due diverse entitála tradizione classica danese e il creativo approccio intellettuale e concettuale italiano. Qui la passione per i materiali naturali, la curiosità nel cercare e sperimentare nuove tecnologie, colori, paesaggi e abitudini si influenzano e si fondono in ogni prodotto.
